It's time that the tale were told

Today was the best day ever for my paper, and that's not even saying much. But I did a lot of reading and have finished a paragraph. I have two weeks left and that's plenty of time to whip something out to turn in. Last week was lackluster for me, despite my parents being home and Kaitlyn being gone.

I'm trying to fight my fear of this paper but it's hard. I don't know how to write scholarly and that leaves me with nothing to do but copy from books and articles in my own words. God I'm so scared. How is this thing ever gonna be 30 pages?

I had such a fun weekend. Friday night I hung out with TJ and Domenic. We watched the Good Son, and I had forgotten how creepy that movie is. It's creepier as an adult than as a kid I believe. TJ hadn't seen me for awhile and when I got off the elevator he was standing in his doorway and saw me. "OH MY GOD!" he said. "You look great, I must say. I can even see it in your face" Then when Domenic came home he made me stand up and show him. Domenic asked me if I had been doing crank every day. He's so funny. Gay boys notice every pound you lose, I swear. Or else they are just being nice. I found out they are moving in June and I am pretty heartbroken.

Saturday I got an e-mail from my friend Diane from college in Ellensburg. She was in town for the Green Party convention this weekend. I couldn't believe it. I was beside myself with excitement. I hadn't seen any of my friends from Ellensburg since I left about eight months ago. I met her at the convention, took her to Kait and Sean's and we hung out there with TJ too. I had so much fun. I love my friend Diane so much. She's one of my heroes, such an amazing activist.

After I dropped Diane off at the house she was staying, Kaitlyn and I decided to go to her house and watch Kill Bill: Volume One. I had been debating with myself forever whether or not to see it because I kind of have a weak stomach for violence. But I really wanted to see it because Molly loved it and she has really good taste in movies. We called TJ and he raced downstairs because he was desperate to see it. I loved the movie very, very much. I really love trippy movies, that don't cross the line into "trying too hard" to be trippy. By trippy I mean with cool effects and screen shots. The violence wasn't that realistic so it didn't really bother me. I pretty much understood the story, but the fighting was amazing. I love Japanese fighting like that or fighting like in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon which is a Chinese movie I believe. It was so good. It had many parts that made me say "Oh my God" out loud or laugh because of the outrageousness. The movie was a hit with everyone in the room and we all want to see the sequel.

And today I pretty much worked on the paper. I went walking today and have gotten faster. I can cover more ground in 30 minutes than before. I am so nervous about this paper. I'm just struggling with the intro. right now, which in my opinion, is the hardest part. Ok here I go back to work.

Yay my mom and stepdad are fighting again downstairs. Good times baby, there's nothing in the world I'd rather listen to. They had a huge one Friday afternoon.

Oh and one more thing. This is what's ALWAYS on the brain lately. With his new album coming out and the Lollapalooza rumors, I had to write a song. To the tune of row, row row your boat.

More, more, morrissey, morri-morri-ssey.

Morrissey, morrissey, morrissey, morrissey.

Morri-morrissey.
