drum & bass weekend

Man the phone is ringing off the hook and I am NOT in the mood for a Monday. I feel so sleepy this morning. I want to nod off in front of this computer in mid-sentence.

I had a fun time Saturday night. I went with Kaitlyn and her neighbors Keisha and Jessy to my first drum and bass party. Drum and bass is a variety of techno music. DJ's spin it I guess and it's kind of a mix between techno and hip hop. I tried ecstasy for the first time, but it didn't do much to me. The only thing that changed was that I danced really hard. I could feel the rhythm through my entire body. Also I was up until almost 6 am. But I didn't have the intense euphoria and the feeling of cheesiness I've heard about. It could be because of my anti-d's although I didn't take them on Saturday.

Sunday I used the rest of my Starbucks gift card and I saw Patrick, my old anthropology teacher from spscc. He's such a little cutie. Of course he doesn't remember me because I had him years ago, but I was geeked to see him all the same. I visited Kait, Sean and TJ where TJ gave me a lovely massage for my hurting neck and shoulders. They were sore from rocking out at the drum and bass party.

Yesterday was a beautiful day but today is pouring rain. That sucks. This coming Saturday is the Washington State Democratic Caucus and all staff day for twin county. I think all staff day starts in the afternoon so I'll be able to vote in the caucus in the morning. I'll be going with my mom and stepdad and I'm pretty sure I'll be voting for General Clark. I like him the best so far, especially for the Iraq war. I'd elaborate, but I'm tired and feeling like crap. I think I feel a cold coming on. I can't put enough coffee into my system, it's not possible.

Talk to you lata
