@ 7:19 p.m. Well I survived my first day at my new job. I have so much to learn at this job. I am so ignorant about banks and financial stuff. Today Shannon, my immediate supervisor introduced me to all my co-workers, who seem like mostly preppy girls. Then I shadowed this lady named Jeni who was really nice. She has worked for the credit union for 23 years, yikers. She answered customer questions and complaints and clicked around on the computer really fast to find out customer information. It's going to be really hard for me to learn all this stuff. I don't even get to try the switchboard until Monday. And then I have to remember all kinds of extension numbers. The worst part of this job so far is the dress code. I hardly have any clothes that fit into it. I got a long, pretty, classy denim skirt that I can't wear to work because it's denim. I got in a bit of trouble because my hair was a tiny bit wet. Um yeah, it's going to be hard for me to care about that shit. Every other woman there had inches of makeup too. As long as my hair is dry and I'm dressed correctly they better not say anything. I wanna move out. I really don't feel like this is working. I just hate Mike and hate being around him. I'm craving Billy so badly right now. Every time I listen to the Smiths I think about him. I wish it were time for bed. Maybe I'll go lie down anyways. I love the word "anyways". Older Entries |
