I had the absolute best birthday anyone could hope for. Molly, Ben and I went to see John Mayer and the Counting Crows at the Gorge. The Counting Crows played first. OMG they were absolutely amazing. I don't know what I was expecting, but they totally blew me away. They played "Omaha" and "Rain King" which are two of my favorite Crows songs ever. Then John Mayer played and he was soo HOT! I wasn't planning on screaming so loud when he came out, but a scream came out of my mouth and I threw my hands in the hair. He was excellent as well. I am soooo in love with him (in the dreadful celeb crush way). When he came on stage Molly said, "Wow, he's a really big man." She was such a good sport for being really tired. I fed her chocolate rockets to keep her going, it reminded me of when Pacman ate the wafers that made him able to eat the ghosts. I am on two chocolate rockets myself right now and am deciding what my next move should be. Should I do homework or clean my dorm room? Ordinarily this would be an easy decision and I would pick homework, but I met a guy last night who wants to fix my computer. I was sitting on the grass outside my dorm last night looking at the moon(It was HUGE and beautiful) when this guy came up and made small talk. He was tall and chubby with facial hair and he asked if he could sit down with me. His name is Joel and he's a computer science major, so he can free up some hard drive on my computer. I hung out with him for awhile and split his 40 oz. with him, and he is nice, although we're completely different in every way. We had a discussion/argument about racism in America which we both enjoyed actually. He voted for Bush though, and that goes against the rules for dating me. You think I'm kidding? He's really into medieval fighting and fantasy stuff, and he made his own shield and sword. I thought that was really cool. It was nice to finally meet someone from my dorm. Anyway he's supposed to call me today or tomorrow to do neat things to my computer, so I want to clean my room. But I really have to read the Canterbury Tales because I have a quiz tomorrow, so I think that's gonna win out. Maybe I could just shove more shit into my closet, throw away the trash, and untangle the computer cords and that would be good. And I'll have to make sure there's no underwear lying around. One time my friend Paul surprised me at my apartment, and I had a bra lying on the table. It was embarrassing as hell. Underwear is under though, so I don't know why it should be. When is Fiona Apple gonna make a new album? I'm listening to Tidal right now. When the Pawn is really scratched up unfortunately. I rank her above most of the female singer songwriters of today. Well not Sinead of course, but the Toris, Ani's and other people who are supposed to be amazing. I love Fiona's voice, lyrics and music so much. She, Elliott, and now John Mayer are the only people who I"ll buy a cd from without knowing any of the songs first. So come on Fiona I'm ready for a new cd. Yesterday afternoon I worked with Illy and showed him my UK pictures. He was in a bad mood when I first came, but I cheered him up. I love cheering people up. He was laughing so hard because I had like four pictures of geese in the album. I said they were Scottish geese so it was different. What a sixteen year old geekster I was. We also couldn't stop laughing because I had a picture of a big plant, and when I looked at the back of it to see where it was taken, it said "big plant." I said, "It's no surprise I became an English minor huh?" We always have so much fun. Is that divertidos muchos in Spanish? I can't remember. Why do people need to do cocaine and meth?
