@ 12:42 a.m. Saturdays are generally lazy for me. I always start out with the best of intentions like cleaning and homework, yet end up doing nothing. I worked today, Illy, was there, it was delightful. My supervisor gave me a article from Harper's to read called "The Romance of Empire." But he also made me feel stupid, when he fucked up making copies for Illy and I. I can't wait to be done with school and have time to read magazines like Harper's. Yesterday, Amanda, her boyfriend Tim, and I went to Em and Ro's. It was an ok time. Tim won some fireworks and he set them off for us. Ro had these three girls from his high school over, but all they wanted to do was watch these Blind Date type shows on tv. It was called the Fifth Wheel or something, and it was terrible and revolting. How can people watch that shit? The only reality tv guilty pleasure I have are the Real World and Road Rules, but I swear they're not as bad as this show was. And then COPS came on, which makes me sad, so Em, Amanda, and I left the room where I listened to them bitch about their boyfriends. I would give anything to have a boyfriend to bitch about. I felt like listening to Loveline tonight, but none of the radio stations that play it stream live through real player. Why are the radio stations doing that? They probably want people to listen to their shitty commercials. Also, I hope they're not REALLY going to start charging people who download mp3s. Just as I was looking for another cool mp3 site. What is the force trying to take simple pleasures away? Free mp3s are songs from artists whom I don't want to buy their whole cd. I want to download one lousy fucking song for free. My wonderful mom has offered to buy me two tickets to John Mayer and Counting Crows for my birthday if I can find someone to drive me to the Gorge. I doubt I'll be able to find anyone to go with though. That would be an amazing show. John Mayer is amazing live, I have ton of his live mp3s. I would never want to buy a ticket to see his show if I hadn't downloaded the mp3s for free. I just can't get off that subject. I can't believe I'm almost 23 years old. I stopped feeling like I was getting older at twenty. My life is speeding by though. I still have a seventh grade sense of humor at least. Who wants to grow up really? Tomorrow I am subbing for someone so I get two extra hours. I don't get to work with Illy unfortunately but extra hours are always needed. Peace out. I love Pandionna who signed my guestbook. http://pandionna.diaryland.com. I still can't link. One of my diaryland heroines, totally political. Read her latest entry about Al Quaeda and Iraq. Amazing as usual. Older Entries |
